First, the buffer rubber: the role of the buffer rubber is to disperse and absorb the impact caused by the conveying material, play a buffer function, and can also increase the adhesion between the cover rubber and the core layer. Buffer rubber should choose good adhesion (adhesion between cloth and cloth ≥ 3.15N / mm), low heat generation, good elasticity, good process performance, and easy heat dissipation.

Second, cover rubber

Rubber conveyor belts are subject to material impact, abrasion, and microbial attack, as well as various aging effects. Therefore, it is required that the cover rubber has good viscosity, good tensile strength (≥18Mpa) and abrasion resistance (abrasion amount ≤20px3 / 1.61Km). The formula design of the cover rubber requires natural rubber as the main or a suitable amount of styrene-butadiene rubber.

Third, raw rubber is mainly natural rubber, containing 20 to 30 parts by mass of styrene-butadiene rubber, with a rubber content of about 50%. The vulcanization system is the same as the general sulfur and accelerator system. Accelerators are generally used in combination with M and DM, or a small amount of TMTD is added to accelerate the vulcanization speed, but care must be taken to prevent scorching of the rubber compound. The carbon black should be semi-reinforced carbon black or other soft carbon black, and the amount is about 10 parts by mass. Dope rubber mixed with styrene-butadiene rubber should appropriately increase the amount of coumarone resin and petroleum resin, otherwise, the adhesion of the cloth layer will be reduced.

Fourth, Rubbers

The main function of rubbers is to glue the canvas layer with the core into a whole. It is required to have good adhesion performance (the adhesion strength between cloth and cloth shall not be less than 4.5n/mm), fatigue resistance (the number of cloth layer flexure ≥ 25000 times / full peeling), and sufficient plasticity (plasticity 0.5-0.6) and scorch resistance and other technological properties.
